Position: SPA FRONT DESK ASSOCIATE
Location: New York

Description

The Spa Front Desk Associate is responsible for efficiently managing front desk responsibilities through overseeing inventory, ensuring the facility is properly maintained, and providing all members and guests with a premier experience.

Job Duties
  • Front desk duties including appointment scheduling, greeting and escorting guests, executing standard telephone procedures, and processing retail sales transactions.
  • Consult with guests to provide appropriate retail selling recommendations.
  • Assist with contractor scheduling to ensure services are available during hours of operation.
  • Wash, dry, and fold laundry.
  • Monitor product inventory to ensure treatments can be performed as described on spa menu.
  • Assist with cleaning and stocking treatment rooms.
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance, adhering to dress code at all times.
  • Other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
  • 2+ years guest service or reception experience, preferably in a spa or wellness center.
  • Familiarity with spa software is highly preferred.
  • Moderate computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and maneuver up to 30 pounds.
  • Ability to sit, stand and walk for up to 8 hours.
  • Ability to climb stairs and ladders.
  • Ability to push, pull, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach regularly.
  • Ability to perform fine motor skills congruent with operating computers and smart phones.
Work Schedule and Conditions

We are in the business of providing a premier experience for our guests. Traditionally our busy periods are during weekends and holiday periods which you will be expected to work. You may also expect to be asked to work extra hours or days on occasion, especially during the holiday periods.
