Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth global operations? Join our team as an Account Specialist, where you'll play a key role in coordinating international shipments and supporting clients with precision and care.
What You'll Do- Communicate with global agents to select carriers and determine optimal routing for shipments.
- Calculate volume, weight, and dimensions using both metric and imperial systems.
- Prepare accurate shipping cost quotations and create billing for approval.
- Provide outstanding customer service via email and phone, handling inquiries and requests promptly.
- Monitor shipments from origin to destination, ensuring timely delivery.
- Maintain and update client SOP requirements.
- Assist with special projects as assigned.
- Experience: 3+ years in a similar or related role.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of shipping regulations and dangerous goods handling.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
- A positive, team-oriented attitude and passion for customer service.
- High school diploma required; industry certifications are a plus.
