Responsibilities- Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out processes.
- Manage incoming calls, schedule appointments, and confirm patient visits.
- Maintain accurate patient records and update care plans as necessary.
- Handle billing inquiries and process payments efficiently.
- Coordinate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow within the clinic.
- Utilize dental software (Dentrix, Easy Dental) for scheduling and record management.
- Provide information to patients regarding treatment options and office policies.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and inventory management.
- Previous experience as a receptionist in a dental or medical office is required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
- Proficiency in using phone systems and dental software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Athenahealth).
- Knowledge of care plans and the ability to navigate clinic operations smoothly.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in healthcare administration is a plus.
