As a Dental Assistant-Oral Surgery/IV Sedation, you will be part of the Oral Surgery Department supporting dental residents and students. Job Title: Dental Assistant-Oral Surgery/IV Sedation
Location: New York, NY 10010
Pay Range: $25-32/hr

• Provide oral surgical assistance to dental residents and students during procedures
• Assist in the administration of IV sedation and monitor patients throughout surgical procedures
• Perform tests, prepare dental castings, and dispense medications and instructions
• Perform minor dental and surgical procedures ensuring safety and compliance
• Ensure the safe use, disposal, and storage of chemicals and hazardous materials

• At least 2 years of related experience in dental assisting or oral surgery
• Graduate of a Dental Assistant Training Program
• Knowledge of four-handed chairside dental techniques and dental lab equipment
• Experience with IV sedation or general anesthesia in a dental setting (1-2 years)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
