This job is hosted by Lori Taggart. Salary range: $19.00/hr – $25.00/hr monday–Friday schedule, no nights or evenings. No weekends.

We are working with a community health organization providing medical care to the underserved population. Working with this organization, you will have a huge impact on those in the community most in need of your expertise and care.

• Assist the dentist with patient care during procedures.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Work with the dental team to identify and explain treatment options to patients.
• Provide patient education and instructions on oral hygiene.
• Other related duties as assigned.

• High school diploma and completed dental assistant training.
• Certification for Dental Assistant from an approved program with NY State licensure preferred.
• Must be able to read and write English.
• Bi-lingual Spanish skills preferred.
• English fluency for patient communication.
• Ability to work Monday to Friday, no nights or weekends.
• Must have reliable transportation (car).
