Dental hygienist

Job Overview

GREAT hygienist needed for a small private practice in Queensbury, NY. The practice has one doctor, two hygienists, and lovely patients. We are looking for a team player with a fun personality who is thorough, caring, and dedicated to patient care.

• Perform dental cleanings, including scaling, root planing, and polishing
• Take and develop dental X‑rays
• Conduct oral cancer screenings
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
• Educate patients with intra‑oral photos
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Curve software

• Valid state dental hygiene license
• Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program
• Training on Curve software will be provided
• Familiarity with dental coding and documentation practices
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients
• Ability to work well in a team environment

• Pay: $40 per hour
• Expected hours: 32 per week (Monday through Thursday, 8 am–5 pm)
