JMorton is a planning and landscape architecture firm that services many different client groups. Residential and commercial builders and developers utilize JMorton’s full-service abilities for land use, entitlements, site planning and landscape architecture. The firm works on a wide range of projects including approvals of master plans for large tracts of land, site plans for residential, commercial, industrial, and civic parcels as well as landscape plans for entry features, pools and hardscape design.

JMorton continues to be sought after by country club managers and community HOA’s for our real-world design expertise. JMorton provides landscape architecture services to several cities and county projects through the RFP process.

• Work on land use, entitlements, site planning and landscape architecture for a variety of client groups.
• Participate in projects including approvals of master plans for large tracts of land and site plans for residential, commercial, industrial, and civic parcels.
• Contribute to landscape plans for entry features, pools and hardscape design.
• Engage with country club managers and community HOAs to apply real-world design expertise.
• Support landscape architecture services to cities and county projects through the RFP process.

• Degree in Landscape Architecture
• In-depth experience designing and preparing site plans and landscape/hardscape plans
• Ability to review and apply government regulations
• Knowledge and experience with hardscape and construction details
• Experience with hardscape materials, pools, and fountain design
• Knowledge of Florida vegetation and growing conditions
• Strong AutoCAD, Microsoft (Word and Excel) skills
• Working knowledge of graphic software programs (Adobe Photoshop, Sketchup, and PowerPoint)
• Ability to manage multiple priorities
• Portfolio of work samples
• Positive attitude and a strong work ethic
• Minimum Experience:
  
  5 years
• Minimum Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree
• Required Major:
  Landscape Architecture

• Proven Leadership experience
• Self-motivated
• Detail oriented
• Freehand illustration and rendering skills
• Good communication and verbal presentation skills
• Florida Licensure
