The LA Group Landscape Architecture and Engineering is seeking an entry‑level Landscape Designer to work in either our Saratoga Springs or Ithaca office. The role supports a range of public, institutional, municipal and private development projects, including site design and stormwater management.
Job Duties- Work in a studio environment, collaborating both independently and in team‑based settings.
- Communicate concepts and iterations clearly using design and graphic skills.
- Create drawings and specifications with AutoCAD and Civil 3D (2016 or later).
- Produce visual presentations in Sketch Up, Photoshop, 3ds Max, Adobe Illustrator, and the Microsoft Office suite.
- Demonstrate compliance with U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status requirements.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field.
- 0–5 years of professional experience.
- Strong organization, self‑motivation, and the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Proficiency in design software and the Microsoft Office suite.
Salary commensurate with experience; anticipated range $55,000–$75,000. Competitive benefits include a 401(k) plan, profit‑sharing, health, dental, life, and long‑term disability insurance, among others.
