Project Architect

We have an immediate opening for a full-time project architect in our growing building systems group located at our Clifton Park, NY office. This position offers a unique opportunity for growth and advancement in MJ’s municipal and federal markets.

• Work within a project team to support architectural projects from initial project programming up to and through construction
• Develop program studies/reports and feasibility studies
• Develop architectural assessment reports for existing building structures
• Communicate effectively and coordinate with project team members, including sub-consultants and other disciplines
• Lead architect on multi-discipline projects
• Code review for new and existing buildings

• Possess a bachelor’s degree in architecture with 4 to 10 years of relevant experience
• Registered Architect is a plus
• Understanding of NYS building codes and regulations
• Technical knowledge in the use of AutoCAD and Revit
• Ability to work within multiple design teams and execute to meet demanding schedules
• Have excellent technical writing and communication skills
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or be eligible to work without an employer sponsorship
