Job Title: Designer / Senior Designer – CAD / Technical

Location: New York, NY

Salary: $110,000–$130,000

• Support design team in development of seasonal collections and custom/VIP development
• Create technical drawings and specs for technique, embroidery, and accessories
• Build and maintain strong relationships with overseas vendors, ensuring design integrity throughout the development process
• Work on capsule and special project development including but not limited to footwear, accessories, packaging design, brand collateral, and store displays
• Manage creation of custom client package presentations
• Maintain WIP charts for managing development progress
• Communicate effectively with in-house Atelier for accurate execution of concepts
• Build and maintain organized design presentation boards for review meetings
• Act as a brand champion, ensuring all designs are consistent with the brand’s vision and aesthetic

• Bachelor degree in Fashion Design with 6-10 years of Design experience with high-end/luxury brands
• Elevated taste level
• Excellent knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, and manufacturing process
• Strong understanding of luxury materials, finishing techniques, embellishments, and trims
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator a must
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously from ideation through production, with strong organizational and project management skills.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to negotiate with credibility, share information effectively, and work confidently with cross functional teams
• Creative problem solver with ability to think outside the box
• Willingness and flexibility to adapt in order to meet project requirements and deadlines
• Team player with a positive attitude
