Selby Jennings is partnered with a leading private equity firm looking to bring on a technically inclined, Director of Product strategy skilled at building 0-1 AI products. In this role, you will work with internal senior leadership to guide the development of new AI tools & products with an emphasis on insight generation and automation that will help drive efficiency across the firm’s investment activities and operations.

You will also work closely with the firm’s diverse portfolio companies, working closely with their leaders to understand strategic needs, building custom products to support their diverse goals. As leader within this key vertical, you’ll have a unique opportunity to play a major role in how different portfolio companies use AI and uncover greenfield areas of growth.

Expected Compensation: $200,000 - $250,000 base + Cash Bonus

• 5-10+ years of experience of strategic consulting experience with exposure to the healthcare, life sciences, or medical devices industries
• 0 to 1 product development experience, ideally within a startup
• Experience working closely with engineering teams to develop technical products
• Experience building LLM and/or AI centric products and features
• Experience building project plans and managing external stakeholders
• Strong written, verbal and collaboration skills
• Understanding of Private equity investment strategies is desired, but not required
