Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA) is seeking a creative, engaged, strategic-minded Brand and Graphic Designer to join a team exploring the overlap between architectural design, strategic narrative, and spatial branding.

Location: New York, NY

Compensation: $70,700.00 – $

• Embrace project goals and concepts, developing and driving design that supports them.
• Produce creative initiation of design ideas independently and with teams.
• Offer and actively solicit constructive and clear critical design feedback.
• Communicate complex ideas visually, verbally, graphically, and in writing.
• Be passionate about design and articulate a strong point of view.
• Work closely with architectural teams to design strategies, generate narratives, and produce communication materials with graphic clarity and punch.
• Engage with all disciplines—Architecture, Strategy, Interior Design, Graphic Design, and Brand Design—to create integrated projects.
• Collaborate with internal teammates and external partners, providing clear communication in all media.

• 6–10 years of experience in branding, graphic design, and spatial design within a design‑focused architectural office or similar.
• Professional degree in architecture, branding and/or graphic design, or closely related field.
• Strong design portfolio demonstrating technical acumen and sophisticated sensibility.
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop), Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and physical/digital printing.
• Experience with Adobe After Effects, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino is helpful but not required.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Available to start within 2–3 weeks of interview.
• Currently residing in the NYC area or willing and able to relocate quickly.
