Sr. Brand Designer

RSM Design is searching for a Senior Brand Designer who thrives at the intersection of strategy, storytelling, and craft. This role guides clients and teams through a wide variety of design phases, including brand strategy and visioning, naming exercises, and visual identities designed to come to life across spaces, experiences, and culture. If you love building brands with intention, sweating the details, and pushing concepts from small ideas on a page into creative expressions in print, digital, and the built environment, our studio offers a unique place for you to start the next phase of your design journey.

The ideal candidate is highly creative and can lead project efforts from initial strategy and vision through design and final production. Experience mentoring and directing junior team members and small creative teams is a plus. We believe in giving designers the leeway to thrive and are looking for candidates who are driven to learn, teach and collaborate to the betterment of all.

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or commensurate experience required.
• 8-10 years experience in the branding design field, or related.
• Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite programs.
• Deep knowledge of typography and design principles a must.
• Experience developing and articulating brand strategy, identity, print layout, and a knowledge of production required.
• Knowledge of designing for the web a plus.
• Knowledge of After Effects and motion graphics capabilities a plus.
• Knowledge in 3D applications or Experiential Graphic Design a plus.
• Collaborative designer that works well in an interdisciplinary, fast-paced environment, as well as ability to work autonomously.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

The candidate will have strong conceptual thinking, visual communication, and problem-solving skills. This role involves assisting in all phases of project design and development, including: programming, research and analysis, concept design, project management and development, and implementation drawings, and have strong experiences with EGD projects from conceptual development through implementation.

RSM Design is seeking highly creative self motivated experienced EGD designers to be a part of our team and who have strong conceptual, visual communication, and problem-solving skills.
