Project Designer

Studio MBM / Maurizio Bianchi Mattioli seeks a Project Designer in New York, NY.

Studio MBM is a New York City design firm working on residential, interiors, commercial projects and furniture design. We are looking for a creative, well‑rounded, motivated and organized Project Designer with 4+ years of experience.

Job Details: Full‑time; in‑office at our Soho studio; starts January 2026. Must be able to work in the US. Salary and benefits commensurate with experience.

• Lead multiple projects, managing day‑to‑day assignments and collaborating closely with the Principal and assigned staff.

• Develop drawings, coordinate with consultants and contractors to ensure project progress and coordination.

• Apply strong design skills across all phases of a project, ensuring high‑quality deliverables.

• B.Arch or M.Arch from an accredited institution
• 4–7 years of relevant experience in an architecture or design office
• CA experience is strongly preferred
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Rhino and rendering software; experience in Enscape is a plus
• Knowledge of construction standards, codes, materials and building systems is a plus
• Experience in residential and commercial projects preferred
• Excellent communication and organization skills
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, rigorous environment
