Senior Architect​/Senior Detailer

Full-time | In-Office | Retail + Commercial Projects | Field Coordination Required

We’re looking for a Senior Architect / Senior Detailer with strong technical expertise and a hands‑on approach to join our collaborative, design‑focused studio. This is a full-time, in-office position (no hybrid) focused on retail and large-scale commercial projects, with a primary emphasis on construction document production and field coordination.

The ideal candidate excels at producing thorough, buildable drawing sets and navigating the fast‑paced demands of commercial retail work. You’ll be deeply involved in all project phases, especially CDs and construction administration
, and will conduct field visits to ensure accuracy and design intent in the built environment.

• Lead the production of complete, code‑compliant construction documents
• Conduct field visits to document conditions and observe construction progress
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to resolve technical issues
• Perform quality control reviews, redlining, and mentorship of junior staff
• Ensure drawing sets reflect constructability, code compliance, and design integrity

• 10+ years of architectural experience, including 5+ years on commercial/retail projects
• Expertise in producing full construction document sets
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and related tools
• Strong knowledge of detailing, materials, building systems, and applicable codes
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture required; licensure and LEED a plus
• Must be comfortable working on‑site in the office
