Architectural Designer

Role Overview

Rockwell Group is seeking a full-time Architectural Designer to join our office in New York.

• Develop and document design concepts for overall architectural designs and space planning
• Sketch preliminary designs and produce collaborative 3D models (in Rhino and Revit) that reflect the proposed floor plans, RCPs, elevations, and FF&E
• Create visualization from Rhino models with post-production work in Photoshop
• Coordinate with project interior designers and project managers to ensure project completion in compliance with design intent

• 5+ years of experience in architecture, interiors, or design
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture or design
• Hospitality design experience is highly preferred
• Experience with all project phases (Concept through Construction Administration), including built work
• Strong experience in Rhino, Adobe Creative Cloud, Revit, and AutoCAD
• Ability to render in V-Ray or Enscape Knowledgeable in materials, finishes, millwork design, FF&E, and OS&E is preferred, but not required
• Registered Architects are preferred, but not required
• Strong organizational and time management skills, as well as the ability to meet fast‑paced and changing deadlines
• Highly motivated self‑starter, with an attention to detail
• Enthusiasm for working on multi-disciplinary and highly collaborative teams
