Job Overview
We are seeking a driven and experienced Product Design Contractor to join our lean design team. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of hands‑on experience in product design, specifically in native mobile experiences, with a portfolio that demonstrates the ability to handle complex projects end‑to‑end. They have a strong design intuition, are able to execute at a high level on a multidisciplinary design/engineering team, and have a deep understanding of systems and strategy.
Experience in the fintech industry is preferred. This contract will be for 10 ‑ 20 hours per week. There may be opportunities for full‑time employment upon contract completion.

Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with design and leadership to map out and develop elegant, world‑class experiences
- Execute product initiatives end‑to‑end
- Own your Figma documentation as a source of truth for product development and execution, including complex state management, information architecture, and user flows
- Optimize and iterate on complex user experiences, including key conversion and growth funnels in‑app
- Advocate for user wellness, transparency, and delight
- Contribute to our growing design system on a regular basis, leveraging advanced Figma functionalities that allow us to maintain consistency and speed in product development cycles
- Discern when to apply pixel‑perfect detail, and when to make sketches and prototypes to expand discussions
- Prioritize and self‑manage tasks, communicating timelines effectively
