A global apparel organization with a diverse portfolio of brands is seeking a Production Assistant to support product teams in working collaboratively and with precision to bring products to market, ensuring alignment with quality, cost, and timeline objectives.

Role Overview

The Production BOM Assistant supports the product development and production teams by managing and maintaining accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) data throughout the product lifecycle. This role plays a critical part in ensuring data integrity, supporting design and production partners, and helping teams meet key development milestones. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrives in a fast-paced, in-office environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enter, maintain, and manage BOM data throughout the product development cycle
  • Support BOM creation, updates, and execution in partnership with Design and Production teams
  • Ensure a high level of accuracy and consistency in all data inputs
  • Manage workflow and prioritize tasks to meet multiple deadlines
  • Utilize PLM systems to track and update product information
  • Proactively communicate status updates, risks, and issues to cross-functional partners
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to support timely and accurate product development
Qualifications
  • Strong attention to detail with a high level of data accuracy
  • Experience with BOM management and data entry preferred
  • Working knowledge of PLM systems
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
  • Must be New York-based and able to work on‑site

Nice-to-Have: College coursework in film, media, fashion, or communications.
