Blink Health is hiring a Senior Design Systems Engineer II to shape and scale the visual and interaction foundations of Blink’s digital ecosystem. The role is hands-on and combines technical execution with attention to design detail and end-user experience. The engineer will partner with Product Design, Software Engineering, and cross-functional teams to evolve the shared frontend design system and build the framework, components, and standards that enable cohesive experiences across products.

What you'll do

Create and refine standardized UI components that meet quality, performance, accessibility, and design fidelity standards.
Conduct code reviews, validate design fit and finish, and collaborate with Design through implementation reviews to ensure pixel-perfect execution.
Publish, document, and maintain components in a centralized design system library for scalability and ease of adoption.
Work with teams to integrate design system components into existing products transitioning to shared UI infrastructure.
Act as a consultant and mentor to other engineering teams, promoting best practices for using and extending the design system.
Create live prototypes and proofs of concept to test and validate new patterns, workflows, and UI paradigms before full-scale development.

What they're looking for

7+ years of professional experience in front-end or UI engineering.
Proven experience working on enterprise-scale or complex professional software.
Prior contributions to a frontend design system at scale.
Experience integrating UI components into a complex ecosystem.
Comfort with rapid prototyping and experimentation.
Experience working in industries such as healthcare, fintech, or other regulated domains is a plus.
Strong proficiency in React, JavaScript, and modern front-end tooling.
Expert use of modern AI-assisted tools (e.g., Cursor, Git Hub Copilot, ChatGPT).
