Lunya is seeking a detail-oriented Associate Technical Designer to support the development of our sleepwear collections. This role brings together technical precision and an appreciation for thoughtful design, comfort, and quality.

Working closely with senior technical team members, Design, Product Development, and external factories, you’ll help translate design concepts into well-fitting, beautifully constructed garments—from initial development through production approval.

What You’ll Do
  • Prepare and maintain technical specifications, measurement charts, construction details, and fit documentation.
  • Measure and evaluate development, fit, and pre-production samples for fit, accuracy, construction, and workmanship.
  • Participate in fittings, document feedback, and prepare clear fit comments and correction instructions for review.
  • Support pattern adjustments and grading reviews with guidance from senior technical team members.
  • Maintain organized sample records and track revisions throughout the development process.
  • Communicate with factories and follow up on sample submissions, technical questions, and outstanding corrections.
  • Assist with final garment approvals, ensuring samples and documentation are ready for review.
  • Collaborate across teams to meet development milestones and resolve fit or construction concerns.
What You’ll Bring
  • 2–4 years of experience in technical design or apparel development; sleepwear, loungewear, or intimate apparel experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of garment construction, pattern making, grading, and fit.
  • Understanding of knit and woven fabrics and how they influence fit, drape, and comfort.
  • Experience measuring garments, preparing technical specifications, and documenting fit corrections.
  • Familiarity with Lectra preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel;
    SharePoint experience is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and clear communication.
  • Ability to manage multiple styles and deadlines, incorporate feedback, and collaborate effectively.

Full-time benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance; flexible spending accounts; paid vacation, sick and personal time; paid holidays; a 401(k) with company match; parental leave; disability coverage; an Employee Assistance Program; education reimbursement; voluntary benefits; and employee discounts.
