Location: New York
S. Rothschild & Co (Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger Dress division) is looking for candidates for an Assistant Technical Designer position to support multiple divisions in managing their growing business.
Responsibilities- Prepare samples for fittings/ Evaluate and measure garments.
- Maintain records of samples sent out for fitting to customers and tracking information.
- Complete all forms and hangtags to send to clients.
- Communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally, to convey technical details and instructions.
- Take notes during fittings and update fit charts.
- Update the calendar for the department.
- 1-2 years’ experience
- Basic knowledge of garment construction, draping and/or pattern making
- Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task in a deadline orientated work environment
- Knowledge of Microsoft applications, Adobe Photoshop, Excel is a must
Salary $55,000 - $65,000
