Location: New York
PBDW Architects, a design-oriented, award-winning mid-sized firm in New York City, seeks a full-time Intermediate Architect to join our team. Our practice spans a wide range of project types including educational, cultural, commercial, and residential and is equally distributed between new construction and design in historic contexts. - Assist in conducting initialprojectresearch, site visits and/or minor surveying.
- Complete design drawings from SD through CAutilizing REVIT softwareunder the direction of the Project Architect and Project Manager.
- Communicate and coordinate with consultants and contractors.
- Preparedesignpresentation drawingsor 3D models.
- Research building materials.
- Assist PM or PA in project managementandconstruction administration tasks.
- Interact with clients, consultants, and all team membersto meet project demands and deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degreeor higher in Architecture.
- 1-3 years of professional experience in US Architecture firms.
- Proficiency in REVIT& AutoCAD. Min. 1 yr of REVIT utilization in a professional setting is preferable.
- Experience in design and construction document preparation and field observation.
- The ability to work as part of team as well as independently in acollaborative,deadline-driven environment.
- Englishlanguageproficiency required, both spoken and written
- LegalUS work status required.

Compensation: $60,000 - $75,000 annual salary dependent upon individual's experience.
