Associate Technical Designer - Men's Outerwear & Swim

We're seeking an experienced Associate Technical Designer, Men's Outerwear & Swim to drive garment excellence through precise fit evaluation and technical communication. This role independently manages vendor relationships and construction problem-solving while ensuring all garments meet our exacting fit standards and delivery timelines. You'll lead fitting processes, create comprehensive technical documentation, and serve as a key liaison between design vision and manufacturing execution.

• Lead fitting sessions and communicate effectively with cross-functional team members to ensure alignment on fit standards
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams through daily communication to maintain project momentum and resolve issues
• Manage garment evaluation by measuring incoming samples and ensuring alignment with vendor-supplied measurements
• Provide innovative solutions for construction and sewing challenges by working independently with factories
• Maintain compliance with approval timelines by tracking samples and counter samples throughout the development process
• Create comprehensive tech packs including garment sketches, construction details, technical trims, measurements, and grade rules

• 2-5 years of technical design experience with demonstrated knowledge of fit, grade rules, and sewing techniques
• Knowledge of pattern making and draping with understanding of garment construction processes
• Proficiency in PLM systems, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Illustrator
• Strong communication and organizational abilities with vendor management experience
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and resolve technical challenges

• Bachelors degree in Technical Design, Fashion Design, or equivalent work experience in related field
• Experience with international factory communication and construction problem-solving
