We’re partnering with a distinguished design studio known for its work on exceptional luxury homes, where timeless elegance, refined aesthetics, and highly detailed execution come together to create interiors that are as beautiful as they are personal.
This is an opportunity to join an intimate, collaborative design studio and play a key role in bringing high-end residential projects to life. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, confident leader, polished communicator, and experienced designer who understands the level of detail, discretion, and service required when working with discerning clientele.
- BA in Interior Design and/or Architecture preferred
- Minimum 7 years of demonstrated experience in interior design with complex, full-cycle project design and management in high-end residential interiors in a senior role
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and knowledge of Studio Designer or similar purchasing programs
- Proficiency in communicating design through various methodologies
- Extensive knowledge of New York trade sources
- Demonstrated knowledge of materials, applications, and specifications in custom furnishings, fine art and antiques, classical and modern architecture, appliances, plumbing and hardware, A/V equipment, and high-end construction
- Ability to effectively communicate intent, plans, status, issues, alternatives, and solutions, and to resolve conflicts
- Has experience in executing projects with style, flexibility, and charisma within an intimate collaborative design studio
- Experience in project programs, design, decoration and planning, shopping, budgeting, presentations, construction administration, scheduling, and reporting project status
- Has excellent leadership and team facilitation skills
- Must have the ability to communicate impeccably with high-profile clientele
- Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced team and take direction as needed
- Must be a strategic thinker who pays attention to detail
- Ensure the quality and accuracy of each project from concept to final installation
