** Responsibilities:
*** Assist in the OR/participate in rounds on assigned service
* Assess patients. Record physical and history on assigned service with countersignature within 24 hours.
* Apply and remove casts and/or traction
* Change surgical dressings/perform minor suturing/removal of sutures
* Order routine laboratory work and x-rays.
* Start IV's and draw blood.
* On the instruction of the attending physician, will write orders for medical and intravenous fluid.
* Write routine orders including diet, patient activity and all other diagnostic procedures.
* May see patients in ER/ECP and/or Clinic
** Experience and

Education:

*** Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant school
* Registered as a Physician's Assistant in New York
* NCCPA(certified) DEA license/CPR-BLS/NPI/NCC PA required.
