Northwell Health’s Department of Behavioral Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Inpatient Psychiatrist to join our Behavioral Health team at Phelps Hospital
. We are recruiting for a highly motivated practitioner who has outstanding clinical and interpersonal skills and is able to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

• 22-bed Inpatient Psychiatry Unit with 24/7 care for adults 18 years and older
• Multidisciplinary staff includes 2 dedicated psychiatrists, psychiatric nurses, nurse practitioners, social workers and occupational therapists
• ECT available
• General medical care provided by hospitalist service
• Monday-Friday schedule, 9am-5pm, with equal and shared evening and weekend call

• OASAS-licensed, 20-bed inpatient chemical dependence rehabilitation unit
• OMH-licensed outpatient clinic and Continuing Day Treatment Program
• OASAS-licensed outpatient chemical dependence unit with day rehabilitation programs and clinic-level services
• Hospital Care Management Program for ongoing patient support
