Psychiatrist

Our client, a leading academic and clinical institution, is hiring a Psychiatrist to join their dynamic team serving the diverse community in Queens, NY. This is a full-time position focused on providing comprehensive psychiatric care within a bustling, multi-disciplinary outpatient setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and coordinate outpatient psychiatric services, including Adult PHP, IOP, ACT, OnTrack, TMS, and general outpatient care.
• Oversee recruiting, training, supervising, and evaluating clinical staff to maintain high-quality mental health services.
• Participate actively in teaching and supervising psychiatric residents, promoting academic growth and mentorship.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop treatment plans tailored to culturally diverse patients.
• Engage in leadership activities related to program development and operational management of outpatient services.

Requirements

• MD degree with Board Certification or Eligibility in Psychiatry.
• Current New York State Medical License, Medicaid number, and DEA registration.
• Strong interest in academic teaching, supervision, and leadership within a clinical setting.
• At least 3-5 years of leadership experience preferred for directorial roles.
