Location: New York

NYU Langone, an affiliate of Woodhull Medical Center, is seeking a full-time, board-certified Anatomical and Clinical Pathologist for our busy community hospital (400 beds) and ambulatory practice (500,000 visits annually) in North Brooklyn.

The position involves signing out routine surgical and cytology cases, as well as hematopathology cases. The candidate will oversee a range of medical tests to determine patient conditions and interpret results. Collaboration with other physicians is essential to explore the best treatment options for patients. The candidate will provide valuable insights into patient cases and appropriate care strategies.

The preferred candidate should have 2-3 years of hospital-based practice experience.

We offer a competitive compensation package and a stimulating work environment, including:

  • Annual Base Salary: $259,000 - $269,000
  • 403B/457 participation with a 10% employer contribution; no employee match required
  • Annual CME reimbursement ranging from $3,000 to $3,500, including one week of paid CME time
  • Projected annual revenue sharing payments up to $30,000, contingent upon meeting productivity and compliance metrics
  • 24 vacation days, 12 sick days, and 12 recognized holidays
