The Consultation Liaison
Psychiatry
service at Moses is a busy
and innovative
consultation and teaching service
which continues to
expandto meet the mental health and addictions treatment needs of
the medical center.
The
two new fulltime Consultation Liaison academic attendings willjoin our existing multidisciplinary team of four and 1/2 psychiatrist Consultation
Liaison
Psychiatrists, two Transplant Psychiatrist, three psychologists, and a social worker. The Consultation Psychiatrists will be responsible for direct care in-patient consultation patient care consults and the supervision trainees’ consults, division, and departmental activities.

The Abdominal Transplant Psychiatrist position follows a collaborative care. The new Psychiatrist shares all the resource of a busy transplant center. This includes excellent administrative staff, six social workers, pharmacist, psychologists, care coordinators, nutritionist, and doctors from various disciplines. While the Psychiatrist is imbedded in the Transplant Center, they are very much part of the Consultation Liaison Team.

As a team we participate in the education and training of many different learnersincluding medical students, Psychiatry and Neurology Residents, Consultation L
iaison
and Addiction Fellows,and Psychology Interns.

Eligible
applicants are board certified or eligible in psychiatry.Additional training in Consultation
