Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Pediatric Neurologist to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health. The Hospital is part of NYC Health + Hospitals. South Brooklyn Health is a redesigned health care campus featuring the new 11-floor Ruth Bader Ginsburg Hospital which provides emergency care, modern labor & delivery suites, and state-of-the-art surgical services.

The new Health & Wellness Institute offers outpatient services—from primary and preventive care to specialty services for children and adults—all designed to keep our community healthy and accommodates more than 250,000 outpatient visits, more than 89,000 emergency room visits, and with 371 beds, more than 15,000 inpatient admissions annually. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University and NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine to maintain its high standards of healthcare delivery.

We are seeking a flexible part-time Pediatric Neurologist to work in our Pediatric Outpatient Clinics, to attend to 3 days per week.

• Active or eligible for NY state medical license
• Board certified or board eligible in pediatric neurology (with ability to become board certified in 5 years)
• Cultural sensitivity to a diverse and underserved patient population

Wages and Benefits include:

Annual Base Salary: $135,000
* based on a 24-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.

The annual total value of the compensation package is $228,020**, which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below:

• Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $55,520.
• Projected bonus of up to $24,000 (based on previous year’s average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.
• 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):
  • Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
  • After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
