The base pay scale for this position is $ - $. In addition, this position will be eligible for additional benefits consistent with the role. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to scope of role, level of experience, education, accomplishments, internal equity, budget, and subject to Fair Market Value evaluation.

• Serve as a primary assistant to the doctor.
• Clinical evaluation of patients in the office.
• Counsel patients and their families regarding proposed surgical procedures.
• Address pre- and post-operative patient questions and concerns.
• Perform surgical first assist role in the operating room.
• Communicate effectively with outpatient staff and inpatient hospital teams.
• Interact closely with office staff, other PAs, patients and families to provide a high level of clinical care and service.

• Graduation from an accredited PA program.
• Current NYS PA License.
• BLS/ACLS certification.
• NCCPA board certification.
• Current Infection Control Certification.
• Completed child abuse recognition course.
• Excellent communication skills and team player.
• Surgical experience or training is preferred.
