The Department of Pathology and Anatomical Sciences is looking for a Cytopathologist to join the clinical practice of UBMD Pathology.

Cases cover a wide variety of non- GYN in addition to robust gynecological specimens. Rapid on-site evaluations are supported with tele-cytology. Candidates will be required to perform all the duties of an attending pathologist which include:

• General and cytopathology sign out
• Autopsy pathology
• Select areas of Laboratory Medicine
• Pathologists additionally attend and actively participate in:
  • Multidisciplinary tumor boards
  • Residency teaching and oversight
  • Medical and Dental undergraduate teaching

Minimum Qualifications

• MD, DO or equivalent
• Fellowship training in Cytopathology
• Board eligibility or certification in Cytopathology

Preferred Qualifications

• AP/CP Board certified
• Cytopathology Boards
