The Division of Endocrinology, Department of Medicine at Columbia University Irving Medical Center (CUIMC) invites applications for an Endocrinologist at the Assistant Professor level.
This faculty position is primarily focused on clinical care and education at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Irving Medical Center (NYP/CUIMC).
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain an outpatient general endocrinology practice (approximately eight weekly sessions) at our CUIMC location.
- Provide inpatient coverage for the Endocrine Consult Service at NYP.
- Participate actively in teaching medical students, residents, and endocrinology fellows.
- Engage in research and scholarly activities as desired (research participation is encouraged but not required).
- MD degree (or equivalent).
- Board certification or eligibility in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism.
- Eligibility for medical licensure in the State of New York.
- Additional subspecialty expertise (such as thyroid ultrasound/biopsy, DXA scan interpretation, or insulin pump/continuous glucose monitoring management) is desirable but not required.
