Overview
We are seeking Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatrists to serve as Clinical Leads within multidisciplinary inpatient treatment teams. These full‑time roles are located at a state‑operated, Joint Commission–accredited psychiatric care setting in the Long Island region of New York.
Responsibilities- Conducting comprehensive psychiatric assessments and admissions
- Developing individualized treatment and medication management plans
- Ordering and reviewing diagnostic tests and collaborating with clinical team members
- Providing individual and group psychotherapy
- Supervising psychiatric residents and fellows
This state‑operated psychiatric care system delivers recovery‑oriented services for complex mental health needs, offering a broad range of treatment modalities including behavioral therapies, animal‑assisted programming, and ECT. The system maintains academic affiliations and offers training opportunities for psychiatry residents and fellows.
