The Lenox Hill Department of Urology is recruiting candidates for a one-year fellowship in Male Sexual Health and Reproductive Medicine. This program offers comprehensive postgraduate training in male sexual medicine, genitourinary prosthetics, male reproductive medicine, and management of male hypogonadism. Led by Dr. J. Francois Eid and Dr. Bob Berookhim, the fellowship emphasizes penile prosthetics, providing broad surgical experience and one of the nation's highest surgical volumes in this field.
Fellows will also gain proficiency in reproductive microsurgery, including microsurgical varicocelectomy, vasectomy reversal, and microdissection testicular sperm extraction, as well as urinary prosthetics, penile duplex ultrasound, intracavernosal injections, intralesional collagenase (Xiaflex) injections for Peyronie's disease, and office-based sperm retrieval techniques. Upon completion, fellows will be equipped to deliver comprehensive subspecialty care for male sexual dysfunction and fertility. The program includes a research component, with 20% of time dedicated to clinical research.
