Our cardiothoracic surgeons are affiliated with Weill Cornell Medicine and are recognized leaders in the field of cardiothoracic surgery, including PAs in the performance of an expansive range of cardiac procedures.
Per Diem Physician Assistant - Cardiothoracic Surgery
The cardiothoracic surgery department seeks a per-diem PA for coverage in the cardiothoracic intensive care unit (CTICU). The CTICU PAs work with a significant amount of autonomy managing post-operative and critically ill cardiothoracic surgery patients, including ECMO, mechanical ventilation, vasopressor support, and cardiac monitoring. With continued training and competency, there are future options for first-assisting in the OR.
This is a per-diem position rotating to help cover staffing needs on all shifts.
