The Division of Geriatrics & Palliative Medicine
, Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, University at Buffalo, seeks a Geriatric BE/BC physician for a full-time position based at our suburban practice. The qualified candidate will be appointed at the Clinical Assistant/ Associate Professor level.
The candidate will be responsible for the development and oversight of an ambulatory practice that provides comprehensive evaluation and care to a geriatric population. The candidate will provide direct care as well as supervise other members of the care team.
This is a unique opportunity to build a state-of-the-art experience for the elderly in a community-based multispecialty setting. Given the academic mission of the Division, the candidate will oversee the educational experience of fellows, residents, and medical students assigned to the site.
- Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and overseeing an ambulatory practice for geriatric care
- Providing direct care and supervising other care team members
- Building a state-of-the-art experience for the elderly in a community-based setting
- Overseeing the educational experience of fellows, residents, and medical students
Minimum Qualifications:
- MD/DO
- BE/BC in Geriatric Medicine
Preferred Qualifications:
- BE/BC in Palliative Medicine
- Eligible for medical licensure in the State of New York
- Current and unrestricted DEA Certificate
- Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
