OverviewThe Division of Infectious Diseases and Immunology, in the Department of Medicine, is seeking a full-time Clinician Investigator/Educator at the Associate Professor level or Professor level. The candidate will provide inpatient and outpatient clinical services in the diagnosis and treatment of infectious diseases at NYU Langone Medical Center and Bellevue Hospital Center. Teaching responsibilities include precepting and mentorship of fellows, residents, and medical students.
Responsibilities- Clinician with responsibility for providing HIV clinical service at NYC Health Hospitals/Bellevue and NYU Langone Health Medical Center
- NYC Health Hospitals/Bellevue Virology Clinical Medical Director
- NYU Langone HIV Medical Director, working in collaboration with leadership in the Division of Infectious Disease and Immunology to develop and implement a strategic vision for HIV treatment across NYU Langone Health, Bellevue Hospital Center, and the Manhattan VA Hospital
- For the appropriate candidate, clinical investigative translational research in HIV treatment and prevention is a possibility for this role
- Inpatient and outpatient clinical service delivery with teaching and mentorship of trainees
- Required:
Board Certification or Eligibility in Infectious Diseases - Preferred: significant clinical and academic experience in HIV medicine and translational research
