Overview
New York-Presbyterian/Brooklyn Methodist Hospital is looking for a part-time Board Eligible/Board Certified Consultation-Liaison Psychiatrist
. The part-time schedule will consist of two weekend shifts, with one shift specifically requiring coverage on Sunday nights.
- Provide psychiatric consultation to the NYP-BMH emergency room and non-psychiatric inpatient units.
- Under the supervision of the Service Chief for Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry, evaluate patients, assist primary teams in developing treatment plans, and provide ongoing care as indicated.
- Communicate and collaborate with emergency department, medicine, and surgical colleagues to optimize patient care.
- Provide clinical leadership and close collaboration with other roles, including the Nurse Practitioner, as appropriate.

Compensation and AppointmentSalary range for this position is $165k to $200k
. This compensation range does not include benefits and any incentive payments, based on quality measures and productivity, that may be applicable to this role.
The selected candidate will be eligible for an academic appointment at Weill Cornell Medical College
. Academic rank will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience and credentials.
