Position Details

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is seeking a Neonatologist at NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln. Lincoln is a Level III Perinatal Center, handling high-risk newborns requiring immediate care. Located 15 minutes from NYC, it is affiliated with Weill Medical College of Cornell University.

The mission of NYC Health + Hospitals is to provide high-quality, compassionate health services to all New Yorkers, emphasizing social and racial equity through the ICARE standards.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze and interpret diagnostic data and imaging studies.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Provide education and support to parents on infant and child development.
  • Perform newborn exams and medical evaluations.
  • Review hospital policies and revise treatment plans as needed.
  • Advise parents on evaluation results.
  • Specialize in neonatal conditions.
  • Perform neonatal resuscitation, including intubation and ventilator management.
  • Manage patient care plans and medical records.
  • Lead staff meetings and instruct interns and residents.
  • Communicate closely with families.
  • Conduct pediatric exams and developmental assessments.
  • Manage on-call schedules and emergency responses.
  • Qualifications
    • Previous NICU or Pediatric NICU experience preferred.
    • Willingness to precept nursing students.
    • Experience in Quality Improvement (QI).
    • Knowledge of NICU equipment and procedures.
