Advanced Interventional Cardiology Fellowship in Structural Heart Disease for
Lenox Hill Hospital is offering a one-year non‑ACGME clinical fellowship in Advanced Interventional Cardiology Fellowship in Structural Heart Disease for individuals who have completed an Interventional Cardiology training program by June 2026. The program is directed by Dr. Chad Kliger, a renowned leader in the field of structural heart disease. This multidisciplinary fellowship provides comprehensive training in transcatheter therapies, including transcatheter aortic valve replacement, M‑TEER and T‑TEER, TTVR, para valvular leak closures, PFO/ASD closures and left atrial appendage occlusion devices.
Training also includes education in advanced echocardiography and CT imaging necessary for the management and care of complex structural heart patients. Fellows are exposed to advanced operative techniques with a focus on minimally invasive and robotic cardiac surgery. The fellowship provides ample opportunity for clinical research.
This fellowship is available to applicants who are BC/BE in adult cardiology and interventional cardiology.
Founded in 1857, Lenox Hill Hospital is a 450‑bed acute care facility in Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Lenox Hill Hospital is one of the few programs in the country that has the Division of Structural Heart Disease within the Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery. Our faculty is composed of 2 Structural Heart Interventional Cardiologists, a Structural Echocardiographer and 5 Cardiac Surgeons who are all committed to mentoring and developing the next generation of world class physicians to provide exceptional care to the community we serve.

Full‑time clinical training compensation at Northwell Health ranges from $70K to $100K, which is impacted by various factors, including but not limited to physician specialty, level of experience, quality of care, academic accomplishments, patient experience and productivity.
