Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Intensivist to the Pulmonary/Critical Care group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln
. Located just 15 minutes from NYC, Lincoln is an acute care teaching hospital academically affiliated with Weill Medical College of Cornell University

• Provide comprehensive care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Participate in pulmonary consults across the hospital.
• Take part in call coverage, including ICU and consult services, on a rotational basis.
• Lead and manage patients in a busy outpatient pulmonary clinic.
• Provide longitudinal care for patients with chronic pulmonary conditions.

Education & Training:

• Actively participate in the hospital’s residency program and Pulmonary/Critical Care Fellowship Program.
• Teach and mentor residents, fellows, and medical students during bedside rounds, lectures, and conferences.
• Contribute to curriculum development and academic activities.

Research & Quality Improvement:

• Engage in research, quality improvement projects, and scholarly activities to enhance patient outcomes and contribute to the field.

• MD or DO degree.
• Completed fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine.
• Certification:
  Board-certified/eligible in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine.
• Eligible for medical licensure in New York State.
• Strong clinical, teaching, and communication skills; commitment to patient care and academic excellence.

Wages and Benefits include:

Annual Base Salary: $278,000
* based on a 40-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.

The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $401,320**, which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below:

• Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $55,520.
• Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year’s average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.
• 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):
  • Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
  • After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
• Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement.
• Generous Annual Paid Time Off (PTO):
