The role involves providing inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular care, performing cardiac catheterization procedures, and supervising mid-level providers under the Medical Director’s supervision.

• Provide inpatient cardiovascular consultative services
• Manage care in the CCU
• Deliver outpatient cardiovascular services within the scope of license
• Lead quality patient care initiatives complying with standards and regulations
• Obtain patient histories, perform physical exams, and document findings
• Order and interpret lab tests and medications
• Perform cardiac catheterization procedures
• Supervise therapeutic treatments and peripheral procedures as beneficial
