- Lead and manage the Kings County Palliative Care Service to achieve clinical excellence, medical education, and growth.
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative leaders to enhance hospital-wide quality of care for palliative patients.
- Provide direct inpatient and outpatient palliative care, including symptom management, end-of-life care, and advance care planning.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate the strategic plan for the palliative care program.
- Lead efforts to achieve and maintain Joint Commission Certification in Palliative Care.
- Lead quality improvement projects and analyze patient outcomes.
- Explore development of Palliative Care fellowship training opportunities.
