We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Hematology/Oncology Physician to join our team on a per diem basis. This is an exciting opportunity to support a diverse and medically complex patient population in a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment.

• Provide Hematology/Oncology consultations for both inpatient and long‑term care patients.
• Support cancer care planning, symptom management, and coordination of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Collaborate with primary medical teams, palliative care, nursing, pharmacy, and rehabilitation services.
• Offer expertise in managing hematologic conditions such as anemia, thrombocytopenia, leukocytosis, and coagulopathies.
• Assist in evaluating abnormal labs, lymphadenopathy, or unexplained weight loss.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team rounds and family care conferences as needed.
• Contribute to quality and safety initiatives related to oncology and hematology care.

• Practice and communicate in accordance with ICARE values.
• Document all evaluations and recommendations promptly in the EMR.
• Engage with patients and families using compassionate, patient‑centered communication.
• Work in collaboration with the broader healthcare team to provide coordinated, holistic care.

• Active NYS Medical License.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology and/or Medical Oncology.
• Prior experience in long‑term or post‑acute care settings is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Per Diem (Flexible Schedule).
