PAGNY is adding a Physician Assistant – Medicine to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County
. Kings County Hospital is a world‑renowned Level I Trauma Center with an academic affiliation with SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University
.

Location:

NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County, 451 Clarkson Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11203.

Position Type:
Full‑Time.

• Provide direct patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and treatment for inpatient floor patients.
• Develop assessment and therapeutic plans and render ongoing patient care.
• Order and interpret lab tests, radiology, and diagnostic procedures; write prescriptions.
• Perform procedures such as drawing blood specimens, urine tests, smears.
• Initiate consultations and refer patients for special testing when needed.
• Participate in daily rounds, IDT rounds, and conferences; document progress notes and notify the MD in charge.
• Attend grand rounds for the service.

• Board eligible or board certified by the NCCPA.
• Licensed to practice in New York State.
• At least 1–2 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
• Day and night shift availability, with alternate weekends.

Annual base salary range: $131,127 – $174,836, based on a 40‑hour work week and years of state licensure.

Estimated total compensation package: $144,239 – $192,319, including bonus, 401(k), and other benefits.
