Opportunity Details:
- Provide direct patient care, including dedicated outpatient clinic sessions, inpatient and emergency room consults, and supervision of resident clinics, with a focus on stroke care.
- Participate in the call schedule, as assigned.
- Provide clinical guidance and direction to other members of the healthcare team as needed.
- Mentor and educate residents and medical students.
- Active, Unrestricted NYS License
- Fellowship Training and board eligibility or certification in Stroke or Neuromuscular Medicine
- Active DEA license
- Experience attending to an under-served population preferred
Wages and Benefits include:
Annual Base Salary: $287,000* (Board Eligible in Neurology Fellowship in addition to General Neurology Board Certification) - $292,000* (Board Certified in Neurology Fellowship in addition to General Neurology Board Certification) based on 40-hour work week.
The annual total value of the compensation package is $411,220**(Board Eligible) and $416,720**(Board Certified) which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below:
- Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $55,520.
- Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year’s average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.
- 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):
- Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
- After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
- Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement.
- Generous Annual Paid Time Off (PTO):
