Wyckoff Heights Medical Center is a 350‑bed teaching hospital located in Brooklyn, NY that has served the community since 1889. The hospital partners with New York Medical College and is dedicated to training future physicians. The pediatric and adult emergency departments receive 90,500 visits annually.
Responsibilities- Assist in directing and coordinating activities in the Anesthesia Department.
- Provide medical management for patients rendered unconscious during surgery and other medical procedures.
- Perform pre‑anesthesia assessment and verify patient consent.
- Discuss anesthetic options and risks with patients.
- Induce, maintain, and facilitate emergence from anesthesia.
- Monitor patients’ physiological condition and perform clinical interventions as needed.
- M.D./D.O. degree from an accredited College of Medicine.
- ECFMG and FLEX certification.
- Completion of an approved residency in anesthesia.
- Current medical license as a physician.
Brooklyn, NY – a highly populated borough of New York City. Highlights include the Brooklyn Bridge and Brooklyn Botanic Garden.
CompensationHourly rate: W2 per diem $270/hr; 1099 $ 295/hr full malpractice insurance coverage is provided along with leadership and professional development opportunities.
