Chief of Cardiology - Health System

Overview

Non-profit health system is seeking a visionary proven leader and non-invasive cardiologist to serve as Chief of Cardiology and Vice Chair of the Heart and Vascular Institute.

• Report directly to the Chair of the Heart and Vascular Institute.
• Collaborate closely with the Vice Chairs of Vascular Surgery and Cardiothoracic Surgery, as well as service line leadership. Competitive compensation range $400K-$950K.
• Partner with the Medical Director of Medical Specialties to provide medical oversight for cardiology offices and hospital-based cardiology services.
• Supervise large team of cardiologists, advanced practice nurses (APNs), and physician assistants (PAs).
• Oversee hospital-based cardiology procedures and support the development and oversight of the new cardiology fellowship program.

• A proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in delivering high-quality cardiovascular care.
• Board certification in cardiovascular disease and an interest in clinical excellence
• Ability to build rapport with medical staff and leadership to obtain the buy-in and collaboration necessary to achieve desired outcomes
