Psychiatrist - Adult Inpatient

Adult Inpatient Psychiatrist role at Physician Affiliate Group of New York, P.C. (PAGNY) based at NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem
. The hospital is a designated Level 1 Trauma Center and is recognized for providing centers of excellence in Bariatric Surgery, Breast Imaging and Sexual Assault Forensics. Our teams provide services for nearly 213,000 outpatient visits, more than 83,000 emergency room visits and over 13,000 inpatient admissions annually. . This full-time position has a mix of cases, including bread and butter inpatient psychiatry as well as light pediatrics, obstetric, neuro, orthopedics and plastics. Daily work includes working with NPs, medical students and residents.

Base pay range
: $/yr - $/yr

• Provide psychiatric management for adults, age 18 and up, in an acute inpatient setting
• Day shift 9am to 5pm
• Develop treatment plans and manage electronic medical record (EPIC) in accordance with New York State Office of Mental Health and other regulations
• Work with consultants as indicated by patient needs
• Lead multidisciplinary inpatient team with a caseload of 12 or less
• Supervision of NPs and/or Psychiatry Residents
• Provide clinical supervision to psychiatry residents and medical students
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment team in management of complex cases
• Participate in didactic training programs for psychiatric residents, medical students, psychology interns and other trainees
• Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities
